Very competitive... Minus: Inconsistent... World Junior Fiasco casts doubt on "big game" player status... Organizational Comments: Wings Goaltending Coach Jim Bedard "You can see things have slowed down for him. He stays square and uses his size to his advantage. He lets the puck come to him. He has the size, and even when he's on his knees, he still covers a lot of the net. I like his athleticism for his size, patience, and composure." What GRC says: Fall 2009: McCollum turns pro with nothing left to prove in Jr hockey. Now he must show that he can excell as a pro and that he can be a "money" goaltender. He was very impressive in Traverse City, and should puch Larsson for starts in the AHL. McCollum is the real deal and just needs the expereince to go with the skill.
