What GRC says: 2008-09: Jozsa played a safe, steady game as a fifth or sixth blueliner over the second half and into the playoffs. Not noted for his offense (one point over the last 27 games) the smooth skating Jozsa made few mistakes, and was known for making a good first pass to clear the zone. He really stepped up in the playoffs, paired with Kolosov, and the duo was arguably the team's best pairing. An unrestricted free agent, it is unclear whether Jason will return.
2007-08: Brought in as an injury replacement, Jozsa quickly earned a regular spot on the Griffins blueline with his steady, unspectacular play. The puck moving blueliner spent most of his time keeping things safe in his own zone, but showed some offensive flair on the powerplay when needed. With the Griffins season coasting to an end, Jozsa was returned to his ECHL in time for their playoff, run, but could end up back in Grand Rapids next season.
Winter 2008: Josza has some experience and has had a couple of stints at the AHL level. The veteran blueliner has put up points in streaks in the ECHL, and should be able to fill in for awhile if he keeps his game simple. |
