What GRC says: 2010-11: Nyquist looked like he belonged in late season action after ending his collegiate career. He was creative offensively with a lot of flair, but his defensive game could use some work. He should be able to find work on a scoring line in the AHL next season. Spring 2011: The wings have waited patiently for Nyquist to develop in college but were chomping at the bit to sign the two-time Hobey Baker Finalist following his junior year. He is a heady offensive player who is always on the puck and is capable of creating offense with his playmaking skill. He comes to the Griffins at just the right time as they are down a couple of players due to injury and he might have an opportunity to get his feet wet at the AHL level. |
