What GRC says: Spring 2009: Axelsson had a tough start to his season, but rebounded in a big way in the second half. He is ready to take on North America having finished the year with an SEL playoff championship, and should be a big piece of the Griffins playoff puzzle.
Summer 2008: Axelsson is a swedish sniper with a lot of natural talent. While on the thin side, he has a projectable pro frame and has the potential to be a power forward. It remains to be seen whether he will spend 2008-09 on this side of the pond or return to Europe for more seasoning after training camp.
