What GRC says: 2012-13: Used his big frame more in the second half and even got a game in the playoffs. He seemed to do a better job of going to the net, but still not enough of an impact player to claim a regular slot on the ice. He must continue to improve his intensity to earn a spot in the AHL with one year left on his contract.
2011-12: Nestrasil was largely ineffective during his time with the Griffins. He did not provide much in the way of offense with only one point in 14 games and only registered 7 shots on goal. The former QMJHL scorer must up his intensity level and keep his feet moving to have a chance in the AHL next season. 2010-11: A gifted scorer with a big frame, Nestrasil still has some work to do to put it all together. When he is on his game he does everything at high speed and has a nose for the net. His skating, while improved, couls still use a little work, which is why he will see the majority of his time in Toledo (ECHL) this season. |
