Griffins Trim Roster by Two
Veteran Blueliner Naumenko Released...

The Grand Rapids Griffins trimmed their roster to 22 players today by announcing two player transactions. Veteran blueliner Nick Naumenko, who playing sparingly in 6 games for the Griffins, was released from his Professional Tryout Contract. Rookie left wing Stephane Goulet was reassigned to Stockton (ECHL) by the parent Edmonton Oilers (NHL). Matteau missed most of training camp with Grand Rapids this fall, and only saw limited action in two games this season.
