What GRC says: Fall 2016 A rugged defender with size and speed, Allen brings a different dimension to the Griffins blue line. He is hoping to rebound after a down season that saw him bounce around between three different organizations in the minors last season. He has shown an ability to generate offense as well as fuel the transition game, though it remains to be seen whether his offensive drop off last year was the exception or the rule.
