| The Wings prospects team hit the ice for 2022 with a little less star power as a whole than the 2021 team which featured Joe Veleno, Lucas Raymond, Sebastien Cossa and Jonatan Berggren among other names. But the organization's top Prospect Simon Edvinsson was generating considerable buzz as be began his uphill climb to earn a spot on the Wings blueline. Detroit's team boasted perhaps the top back end in the whole tournament, featuring veteran Donovan Sebrango along with returning rearguards Seth Barton and Oscar Plandowski. Top prospects Eemil Viro and Albert Johansson join the aforementioned Edvinsson, tryout Jeremie Biakabutuka, and recently drafted Tnias Mathurin to make up the defensive corp. Other tryouts include netminder Andrew Oke, forwards Riley Piercey (who had 4 goals in the opening game), Jake Uberti, Marcus Limpar-Lantz, Julien Anctil, Ivan Ivan, Jacob Mathieu and Mitchell Martin. |
